Okay - minds out of the gutter! This coming Saturday the Powerball jackpot will be well over $500 million - perhaps the biggest jackpot in history! Depending on state taxes a single winner could net $250 million and more. For fun - name three things you would do with the money. No saying "charity" as that's a given knowing all the wonderfully giving people who visit this site.
I know the odds are one in a bazillions but the fact is - someone DOES win!
And have an animal sanctuary.... all kinds of animals... because I would own that mountain I live on....
I would have a picture taken with me laying in all that money, and send it to my two Ugly Sisters, with a note saying... OHH, but you should have been nicer people.....
I would have to help people somehow... I have been helped so much in my life that not paying it forward , well, I just could not do that... This would be another big list.
I would travel. I have always wanted to go to Switzerland. And anywhere else I wanted to go... I would get a Harley and have a grizzly biker dude be my driver !!! Oh man... when we come down from this we are sure going to be cranky... lol
07. Number of times you'll recheck this ticket before accepting you never had a chance.
25 Number of years you'll have to continue working at your awful job.
35 Number of car payments you still have to make.
45. How many dollars you presently have in checking account
69. Number of major life mistakes you've made that led to a near-impossible lotto win being your only hope for a debt-free existence.
...meh.
Did you hear about any riots in the lotto lines yet?
And yes, I bought my tickets. I figure someone has to win, and I can't win if I don't play. I won't really regret buying a few tickets - we're not talking spending hundreds on them here, not even $20 - but I would definitely regret it if my numbers won and I didn't play them.
Me, I could play for years and never win, and at a casino the "fun" would only last as long as it took to put my money in the slot. I always figured I may as well toss quarters in the toilet and flush, but then there wouldn't be flashing lights and bells lol!
Glad, It would be just like you to share all that $$$. It would be a full time job just managing it all!
I believe when it was at 9 million, they said the lump sump payout after taxes would be around 5 million - that's still a heck of a lot of cabbage!
I would start a company and have my husband work for himself!
Then, reward every caregiver with a good life and financial security.
Would payoff a whole lot of student loans for people, then sue the gov't for running such a scam on the American public! O dear, this one needs some thought, now the lawyers are getting richer. Ugh!
Gee, I am looking forward to Spring, when flowers bloom!
All this money something has worn me out.
What if I just gave the ticket away, anonymously?
Today I went to get a couple tickets - the gal at the counter made a mistake and printed the wrong combo. I took them anyhow - I didn't want to hear "yeah, I made a mistake printing some tickets and the customer didn't want them - so I bought them".
That was just so much work, and it hurt my head. Had to get some sleep, afterall.
