Shaun Phelan founded Senior Helpers of Scottsdale in 2007 after witnessing the challenges his family experienced while trying to care for his grandfather. Shaun’s wife Tiffany also joined in this endeavor as the director of operations. Her grandmother’s struggle to find caregivers who were familiar with her grandfather’s rare neurodegenerative condition, Huntington’s disease, inspired her to participate in Senior Helpers' mission.
Together, the Phelans and the rest of the Scottsdale team strive to provide personalized services so seniors feel they are being cared for by someone they can connect with and never a stranger. Our goal is to ensure seniors are safe and comfortable in their own homes, preserve their dignity, and improve their quality of life through our work.
Since 2002, Senior Helpers has been a national leader in professional in-home care services. With a vision to help seniors remain in their homes despite age-related changes and chronic medical conditions, we have now cared for tens of thousands of older adults.
We have rapidly built a reputation for providing the best in dependable, compassionate and affordable non-medical senior care services.
Senior Helpers is proud to lead the industry in programs like Senior Gems, which certifies our caregivers in Alzheimer's and dementia care, and our innovative Parkinson's Care Program, which delivers specialized training to our caregivers who care for seniors with Parkinson's disease. With Senior Helpers in-home care, you can feel confident that your loved one is in good hands.
In addition to providing compassionate care with a positive attitude, we also prioritize dependability of service, continuity of caregivers, peace of mind for families, and quality of life for seniors in their own homes. By choosing Senior Helpers for a loved one, you’re not only getting exceptional care to meet their needs but also gaining a genuine, in-home connection intended to help them live a life that they can celebrate!
