Find Care & Housing
Did Dad serve during wartime? If so, he maybe able to get Aid and Attendance for Mom. It varies how much she will receive. It may be enough for you to be paid. Dad can make an appt to see a VA rep in your County. The County seat should have a Dept for VA Affairs.

There is also Medicaid in home if parents fit the criteria. Office of Aging is a good start.

If dad was active during a war, then he can apply for aid and attendence. Can you use the money? Well, no because it will be for thier care. Can you apply for government assistance for them? Yes. but it is for their care. Plus it will not be enough payment for 3 people to live under one roof. You will all be impoverished.
The vast majority are paid by their parents. A payment contract will need to be set up in case either needs Medicaid within the next 5 years. You need a paper trail. You need to file taxes as a result of your receipt of payment.. What will you do with your own medical insurance? What will you do when you retire and your social security is the bare minimum because you did not put in the hours as a full time employee?
There are a few states that will pay someone for caregiving...say minimum wage for 16 to 20 hours a week. Is this feasible for you? Remember they will get worse over time. I doubt that you can pick either one of them off the floor without hurting yourself.

Is dad still alive? That might determine some services.
The best thing to do would be to contact the local Veterans Assistance Commission or "(your State)" Department of Veteran's Affairs.
In general if you want to get paid to care for mom, dad, any family member they are the ones that pay you from their assets. There may be local programs that might help. Check your local Area Agency on Aging.
I suggest that you have a contract in place that proves that any money they pay you if for care rather than a "gift" the proof that the money was for care might be necessary if there needs to be application for Medicaid or for tax purposes when filling out medical expenses.
