My father lives in Ellesmere Port and I live in London Ontario Canada. I'm an only child and my mother passed away in 2014. My dad has been in and out of hospital with blood pressure and blood sugar issues. The neighbours have been kind enough to help with groceries and house cleaning. He refuses help or assistance with care and now that his water heater has gone so no hot water for showering or laundry can be done. He refuses help so my question is what can I do to get this all sorted out, if it requires legal means I have the full support of his brothers and sister. If anyone has any suggestions please feel free to give your input.
Thank you in advance
Rregards
Robert
Is the US, every county has an Area Agency on Aging. You can call them and get information about services that are available, how to arrange help and how to get welfare/wellness checks. Certainly worth a shot!
