Capt has helped me with his humor on my worst days. He speaks his mind. If you don't like him...don't READ him. But taking him from those of us that NEED him is uncalled for. He was the reason I signed up here. and I will miss him.
Reason comes in various forms, as does venting. I am more concerned about the silent, unstable individuals in our society and the insidious plotting of governments to take away God-given freedoms. If a few words from the "not preferred list" offend, change your channel. Blatant superficial rants mean Nothing. Look into the heart and soul of honest, outspoken people like capnhardass. You will want to be alongside him if our freedoms are further threatened, not someone who keeps it all inside. Control. That's scary. It's so frustrating to see judgments made about Crappola that doesn't matter. Oh yea, IMHO. Forgot that important requisite:)) Softens my point, right? xo
I know I've been absent a lot lately... but wth happened? Someone was mean to Jeanne? I always found her answers to be spot on. She didn't sugar coat, but was kind and informative.
Jeanne was using her situation as an example of how some families don't necessarily "get permission" from relatives before making decisions, and how that can be fine. A newbie read that post only and told her she was a selfish mother and that her kids would all abandon her or some such crap. They went back and forth a few times and we jumped to Jeanne's defense. Jeanne said she would be back when she feels stronger. I hope that's soon.
I hope that's a fair summary, but that's what I remember.
DIL, I know the lyrics well. Everyone I loved in my family died young, or when I was. The good learn their lessons and get to graduate. Or, those who are too meek for this world leave early:( "The Others" cling to anything they can get their claws into and hang on, in spite of holy water being flung onto them.
im not a child and i dont want ac treating me like one. i work for some very affluent people and when they feel comfortable with my language they loosen up a bit themselves. communication improves greatly at that point. AC is a history lesson if they dont let people speak their minds. stick your pc heads inthe sandand becomeextinct as dinosaur shit for all i care, its your loss. and ive forever been kidding about boning ms bursack. she aint nearly as lewd as my preferences. i mean i like female pervs..
OHDIL, no, I'm not watching anything but Homeland when it returns in the Fall. I am speaking figuratively about individuals who take a long time to die, or who don't want to die, for some reason, even when ( ok, here I go again) "It 's Over." I should have been more literal. There is a movie by that title about people who think they see dead people but it's actually the reverse. They are dead and " The Others" are alive. Creepy !!! Lol xo Browsers are not going to understand this thread.
Your intended meaning works just as well with th meaning in Fire and Ice series. Those "Others" are dead but continue to devour live humans (works eh?) Too funny! 🐾
