My other half daughter has his POA and she has caused me a lot of pain. She and her brother has cursed me out, called me names and threaten me. If I try to limit there visits, they accused me of trying to keep them from seeing their dad. By law do I have to allow these people in my home or can I get a restraining order to not only protect me but him also?

So let them complain. You don't have to let them in. Can they see him somewhere else? Will he change his POA?

So sorry, Cassie, girlfriends don't have a say as much as children do. Try to stay out of their way. Put up a nanny cam to record their threats. Have a friend there with you to be a witness.

If you are his wife (not a girlfriend) you have every right to keep them off the premises. A restraining order for you, only you, is possible if they have threatened to physically harm you. On the other hand, if it is his house and you are not married, the judge may choose to remove YOU. Proceed with caution.

You don't have to let abusive people into your home, no.

I think there's a bit more to it than that, though, isn't there. Could you explain what the situation is that's led to your other half's children being so hostile to you?
