Most of you know that my grandmother (who has severe Myositis and is confined to a wheelchair) pees into paper cups in the kitchen because she can’t go to the bathroom. She’s now on a laxative because she has pneumonia and the antibiotics messed with her system. Well, just a few minutes ago I noticed her obviously butt naked at the kitchen sink and I didn’t know if the laxative took effect and she was defecating in an extremely unsanitary way.

Disney: don't know if your still looking for responses for this question but this is backwards: antibiotics can cause diarrhea and she should NOT be taking laxatives. Ask her doctor about probiotics.

Your grandmother should be in the hospital if she has pneumonia and is having a bad reaction to the antibiotic. Laxatives are the LAST thing she should be taking. Call her doctor.

To answer your question, the proper way to dispose of feces is in the toilet.

antibiotics almost always cause diarrhea, not constipation. I would stop the laxative.
