Serotonin is the bodies natural way to feel better and some anti-depressants help the body hold on to what the patient eats in foods. It makes sense to eat foods high in serotonin to help the medicine help the patient. My Mom's psyc. nurse gave me a whole list of serotonin rich foods to add to her diet. I read so many posts about angry loved ones with dementia and depression I thought I;d pass along the wisdom of a great nurse! Canalope and walnuts are 2 of them....who knew?

This looks like a good site. I googled 'serotonin food list' and got back quite a few answers..
It's hard to tell the difference between not enough and too much of serotonin
