We are a Caregiver forum not an employment agency.

For what you need, I think you need more than a CNA. They are not trained in the kind of care you need. Hiring an agency will cost a lot because u need at least an LPN. My suggestion would be to contact your Office of Aging and see if they know of some resources. Also, your County Disabilities Dept.

Are you on Social Security Disability? Medicare and or Medicaid. You can check with Medicaid if you can get services thru them. Like said if your a Vet u can try there.

Trying to get this kind of help is going to be hard. If ur alone, it maybe be better to find a real nice Long term care facility paying privately or getting Medicaid to help. You need to be rich to afford the care you need.

Dewey, I'm assuming you're not a Veteran?

If that's correct, you might find some guidance at your local county government, depending on its size and extension of reach to the community.

Another option is to contact nonprofit organizations addressing the conditions which you've itemized.    Others may be in similar situations and the organizations may have identified the kind of support you request.

I did some quick checking, and did find one service, but it's in FL.  Your profile doesn't indicate your state of residence; that would help others make suggestions.

And if by chance you're in FL, you might explore this option:

I don't know whether it's private, in home care, but it might be a start.

Good luck with your search.

Hi, this isn't an employment forum, it's for caregivers and receivers to ask questions and provide answers. Please contact your local area's Agency on Aging for resources, or social services for your county for an in-home assessment.
