Find Care & Housing
Sorry, with new members I try to spell it out. I guess you have been reading posts because this is your first one. For me, I am on a tablet using a stylus so spell out takes a while. Most forums abbreviate.

POA-Power of attorney
DH- Dear Husband
Some of them leave scratching my head wondering, too.

Most people use abbreviations. I do it too.

When my daughters were younger they had entire conversations with emojis!! LOL

Here's the direct link (the one MJ1929 posted requires going to another link so this is where it takes you)

Here you go -- https://www.agingcare.com/discussions/do-you-wonder-what-the-heck-all-these-acronyms-are-470966.htm?orderby=oldest

I wish people would spell out each one once in a post, like Power of Attorney (POA), Mother-in-Law (MIL), Dear Husband (DH) before resorting to the abbreviations. It's better writing, and avoids having to search out the link above.

My Dear Husband thought DH stood for D!@# Head 😮 so he wanted to be referred to as HOM (hot older man) instead 😆.
