My now 99-year old mother, Marjorie K. M. was, for about 7 years, the caregiver for her husband, who had Alzheimer's Disease. Following his death about 10 years ago, my mother wrote a booklet describing the lessons that she learned from the experience. She self-published it at that time. Her book is entitled: "For the Alzheimer Caretaker: Helpful Hints."

It is a loving and useful description of what a caregiving spouse needs to know and to hold on to in dealing with a husband or wife with Alzheimer's Disease. I hope that it will be useful to others in a similar situation.
