I have been living with an elderly lady for 15 years as companion/handyman/security guard/friend. We are not married, nor related, nor intimate, - just companions and friends. I have had the use of her farm for all this time and have paid a rent and board to her for this. Had I not been with her she would have had to leave the farm and move into "Shady Pines", ( or have had to find someone else to do what I have done.) Thanks to my presence she has been able to stay in her home and will continue to do so until she passes. I fully understand that I have no legal claim to her estate and that it is her estate to do with as she pleases. But . . is there any MORAL justification in me expecting to be named in her will.?
