More info on my question. Mother is still in her own home. She is 98 with dementia, Hospice is coming two days week. I am her son. Three of my sisters are against hospice and treat the nurses with hostility, mostly bullying and accusations. The sisters live in different locations and take turns staying with mom. They are not following the suggestions of hospice on care. The want hospice stopped. They yell, intimidate, accuse, use demeaning language (in front of mom) walk out, leaving us there with mom with no indication when they will return. One time I waited 30 hrs for a sister to return. I do my share, maintenance, finances, decisions, car repairs, etc. What would you do in a situation like this?

Next time they're there video the bad behavior. Take it to a judge and ask for emergency guardianship. Then tell them you'll get a restraining order to protect your mom unless they stop being selfish witches.

You may need to involve a professional family mediator or hire a geriatric advisor, someone neutral and objective.

We have attempted that. Hospice social worker called and suggested we all have a meeting. They refused.

We honestly need more information.
You say that you and your wife are being verbally abused by "three sisters". Are these your daughters?
Do you and your wife live alone or with one or more of the "three sisters"?
Who is receiving hospice care now, and for what illness?
Who is caring for the Hospice patient when Hospice personnel are not present?
Are they wishing to place their mother in a Nursing Home because they cannot adequately care for her, or because they believe you cannot care for her?
