Your loved one may not require home care or assisted living services at this time. However, continue to monitor their condition for changes and consider occasional in-home care services for help as needed.

Share a few details and we will match you to trusted home care in your area:
In reference to what happened when Dad died to now...if husband is Executor than only he will contact people concerning Moms death. POA stops. The funeral home will contact Social Security/Medicare of Moms death and because she died in October, no SS check will be received in Nov. Your husband will have to notify her health insurance suppliment. If she was receiving pension needs to contact the benefits office that controls the pension. He will contact her financial institutions. No one else needs to be involved.
There is a will, my husband gets everything for taking care of her all these years. Siblings 2 and 3 wrote letters stating they were aware and agreed with it. Sibling 4 is the issue, there is a wedding ring and a few antiques of value.
MIL stopped breathing about a half hour ago. The siblings have not yet called hospice to tell them. They are just sitting around sharing stories and crying. Sibling 4 should arrive tomorrow. Husband asked me to make some coffee for them because they want a little more time with her before she gets picked up.
Until the admin comes in and says it’s explicitly illegal to address mils situation, I’m gonna go ahead and address what I said before.
MilHell, the shoulder injury is your prime concern, even more than mil and even right now. You do not want to be where I was dealing with shoulder, because there is not adequate pain medication for that anymore unless you are terminal.
Thank you. I was proud of myself yesterday, I used my right arm to put my seatbelt on and I was able to get a canister down from a shelf without having to use my left hand to move it above my head. My physical therapist says little victories are good. I have alot of neck exercises and my headaches are not as bad as they were.
I do get that. But, that is not what was done in this case. Even seeing DM on this site is relatively new. What has usually been used, almost exclusively is PM. I guess the group is getting younger.😏😏

I really think ADMIN that you think about your inconsistent moderating here, which has resulted in reputable ops having to offer to private message this op about an entirely valid question.
Maybe her post was locked because of Bandy 7. MiLhell request several times for her to stop posting to her thread. I saw someone question Bandy about writing a 1500 word/letter response that I could not find. Maybe Admin. thought better to just lock it.

I am sure any of those other people would appreciate your input. Instead, you only post on my threads, spread the wealth of your wisdom.
Her prayer circle came yesterday and visited with her but she was not awake.
My husband asked if I thought she could hear what he says to her. I told him yes but I do not know.
