This Forum is great! It has helped a great deal in my dealings with my mother! Everyone here is great and it's wonderful to get different perspectives. Knowing you aren't alone in this is half the battle. :)

You found this one.
You can check with the Alzheimer's Association there may be on line groups that they have.
If your neighbor's dad is a Veteran the VA has a lot of on line support. And it is perfect for someone in a very rural area.
Have your neighbor check the Area Agency on Aging and sii if they are aware of any on line groups.
If there is a Senior Center in your community they may also have on line support as well.

You can "Google" caregiver support groups in my area. Most are still meeting on Zoom which sounds like that would work for her.
That's how I found our local caregiver support group over 3 years ago now, when I was caring for my husband. It literally saved my life, and even though my husband has now been dead for a little over a year, I still get on to try and help others that are still in the throngs of caregiving.
A support group is priceless, as there is something to be said about being able to share with others who are going through or have gone through what you have.
I'm going to send you a personal message in case there is not one in your friends area, as the one I'm on welcomes folks from all over.
