She is wearing Depends; she sleeps on a piddle pad; waking her up to go doesn't seem to help.Cutting back or eliminating drinks after 5:00 PM doesn't help. (That is not a pun!) What more can I do? Perpetual laundry at 4:00 AM is saping my strength. Do any of the myriad of chemicals (i.e., desmopressin, imipramine, anticholimergic meds) help? Could a gerontologist be of more help than her GP?
Depends, pad.....there's really nothing you can do unless you want to wake up every 2 hours to take her to the toilet and even that's hit and miss.
Why do laundry at 4am? Throw it in a hamper and do it later in the morning.
Maybe others have ideas, but I don't think this is something that can be completely stopped.
Sorry you have to go through this.

No water pill involvement. Depends could be upsized. Piddle pad is used as previously mentioned and keeping her on it is quite a chore. Thanks for the thoughts.
