She now resides in our personal home. Mom is 87 years old; has diabetic, congestive heart failure, and some kidney failure; needs help with medications and insulin shots due to failing eyesight, and it is not safe for her to live alone. Brother has poa and has for quite a number of years due to the fact that my family and I lived in another state. We now live in the town where my mother's home is. She has lifetime rights to her personal residence, but due to recent hospitalization, she agreed to come to our home. There will be no monetary compensation, and lieu of any compensation, scheduled time off in increments of 10 days every 45-60 days is all I ask. My brother being poa and handling all finances, and lives 12 steps from her back door, should take over during my time off (even though he works full time, but can pay for sitter in her home when I am off, which I will not allow him to do it in my home).
