Wait and see how she is when she is back in her normal surroundings the approach it calmly if it no longer seems like an emergency. It may be that the trip to France has accelerated her decline. Oh and have her checked for a UTI any old excuse will do"Most people seem to get them when they have been on the Continent, you know how unsanitary those **** are"

Don't start me on private GPs grrrrr overpaid waste of space smoothie chops b*st*rds...

Be that as it may. Ironically enough, seeing as they have fees to earn, you may find it easier to get a private GP to include a mental health / baseline cognitive assessment as part of an overall MOT type health check. What's provision like in your sister's area? (I'm in the UK myself, btw)

Nothing because she seems able to care for herself on her own. I am worried now as she is staying with my other sister in France. She is at her wit's end with her. Talking constant nonsense, rude in restaurants, repetition and behaving like a 5 year old. She cannot wait to put her on flight back to Heathrow on Wednesday then it is over to me and my younger sister to sort this out. Where do we start? She only consults private GPS - does not get involved with NHS. She is quite able to fund care etc. I hope I can get some advice. Thanks for answering me.
