My 92 year old aunt with dementia is in Assited Living. She is always asking for her cameras to take pictures. We no longer have her old 35mm camera. She no longer would be able to even no how to use one.
Any ideas on cameras or other items that would be simple enough for her to click and shoot pictures and have them easily available for her to see.
She no longer can use a computer or a cell phone.
I think just the action of taking and having a picture may do her some little good.
‘For sure, I’m hoping she’ll have some fun with it.
How I miss my old 35mm camera, but finding a place to process the pictures from the film is far and few between.... [sigh]. Gosh I use to take really good photos. And I miss that :(
I have my Dad's digital camera, and I haven't figured it out yet, so that is gathering dust. My flip phone takes photos but the pictures are the size of a post stamp. I've watched my boss with his new smartphone, the phone with 3 photo lenses, and at my age with a slight hand tremor, the photos aren't all that good. So there is a lot to think about if you feel your Aunt needs a camera.
Kodak, if you are listening, bring back the old fashion Brownie camera for us seniors to use !!
