From what I have heard on here, peapods are good for that. They are a bit pricey but the others on here have raved about them.

I wish I could remember the brand name...

Ive recommended the mattress pads I use many times. I have a severely disabled son who is in adult diapers - he’s almost 27 now so this is an area I consider myself well informed in.

Anyhoo - the mattress pad is cotton terry on the top and Gore Tex on the back. If you’re not familiar with Gore Tex - it was revolutionary back when it was introduced - mainly in sport clothing and specifically ski wear. It’s breathable AND waterproof.

The mattress pad made with Gore Tex doesn’t make any of that annoying crunching and crinkling noise when one mores in bed AND it doesn’t cause over heating and sweating the way traditional mattress pads do. Plus - if you’re a hot sleeper it wicks away any moister caused by sweating.

I can’t say enough positive things about this product. I have them on every bed in the house - I found it to be a God-send when I was going through menopause and had horrible night sweats.

The only negative I can say is that they are expensive. But worth every penny. I bought mine at a mattress store called Sleep Train. They now
go by Sleep Firm - at least in Oregon they do.

I sure you could find the pads with google using “Gore Tex Mattress Pad” as key words. I haven’t looked for them in a few years and hope their still around as I’ll be needing a couple of them soon for additional beds. And, this is the only mattress pad I would ever considering using for the rest of my life.

... too late for an edit -

When I said traditional mattress pads cause sweating - I meant the waterproof kind.
