This is outside the realm of caregiving, but does concern inappropriate behavior by a senior person. This man has been active in several 12-step meetings for decades; the kissing began a couple of years ago and has now progressed to fondling. He only chooses newcomers and vulnerable females. When approached by a female long-time member of the group, he denies it. He was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease a few years ago. Regardless of cause, how can he be approached in caring concern to bring about a change in behavior? Does anyone have experience with successfully dealing with this kind of inappropriate behavior?

One day I was walking in a busy mall, a hand took a full grab of my butt. I was in my late teens, I responded with a sharp elbow and closed fist behind me, without looking. Funny because the same thing had happened to me not long before at a disco....at the disco, the 'culprit' ended up being a cute Senior from my school...awkward. At the mall unfortunately the culprit was a kid that seemed to have mental issues.....I felt awful.

Like many I am offended by unwelcome advances, I would have handled both situations differently had I known.......warn the newbies
