Hi everyone.
Some members may recall postings about the "Help Help" lady in the facility. She was set in her ways, one example being in bed by 7pm, hence the "help help"
Sadly, she passed this morning at midnight The days leading up to her passing, she was sick, to the point of needing oxygen. Even with this, she still would try to say "help help" and even was removing the oxygen mask. She was clearly ready to go.
She was very religious and let it known she was ready to pass. She finally had visitors and the priest came to give last rites.
She did live to be 98 (soon to have been 99 in a couple weeks).
May she fine eternal peace and rest
RIP. Mrs."Help Help" lady 🙏🏾
I think you are going to have to pick up the slack on the constant shouting for help Cover now that she is gone. If you don't I can bet someone else will - so it might as well be you to do it.
Picking up the slack,no need, another lady not only will yell help, she'll tap her table and cry ( even over the simplest things). This is the same lady that called the DON when the aides weren't fast enough with her requests, thereby getting changes, for she.
I am glad your lady is now at peace.
Such a sweet story about the lady at your aunt's facility 😢.
I'm glad she is at peace.
on the first floor to complain. Mind you, her room was on the 2nd floor. at the far end of the building. The reception area is on the first floor at the entrance. It is a distance from her room there, moreso for someone who wheels themselves around slowly, but she did it, made her concern known to the receptionist who in turn notified maintenance to address her issue.
Another phrase she started using was "Turn the Light Off", a concern she had with a light being left on in a room with no one using it. She would even wheel herself over to a room if she saw one on with no one in the room, and turn it off. This is one area we both agreed on 👍🏾.
Yes I hope she has found her help, found her peace.
Hopefully she has🙂
