I "live" next door. He needs his sleep, so I don't go over till I know he's up. Sometimes he wakes briefly as early as 4am, or 7, or 9 , etc, takes his morning meds, goes back to bed, and sleeps till noon or 2pm. By the time I see him, he's forgotten what time he took them.
He has a box with compartments, but I can't tell later what TIME he took them. A card with pills in bubbles wouldn't tell that either.
He takes them when he first wakes, still half asleep, so he can't remember to note the time or to make me a note, etc.
Game camera? Baby monitor camera? Not enough detail, and too much trouble too review the film.
Any other ideas?

Oh yea, there are digital, electronic pill minders available, kind of like the electronic pet feeders that dispense food twice a day. You should be able to find them online, I would try Amazon first, then medical supply online stores.
On Wednesday I moved his Thursday Bupropions from Morning box to Noon box and he agreed to take them then. By noon or near noon I'm up and in touch with him and can remind him to take Noon meds. (He had less critical stuff in Noon and usually took it with Evening.
That worked on Thursday except that he was up before noon and getting antsy. So Thursday night I moved his Buprop from 3 in Morning box to 1 in Morning and 2 in Noon. He did take the Morn box around 5am or 7am and went back to bed. We'll see how that works when he wakes again.
