I'm looking to move into a place that I only need little help
in AZ. I'm in a 1 bedroom 1 bath I'm upstairs and I'm unable to walk. I can't feel my feet I know I need just a little help
I know per my dr I will no longer be able to walk. I fall all the time and there is no one that will come to make sure I'm ok. I have been disabled almost 19yrs. I put my applications in this government appt
over 3 years ago. I needed a home so I moved in here on the top floor. The
People who put me up there said we know you need to be on bottom floor because you fall 3 to 5 times a week and it's hard to walk up and down without falling but this is all we have. I have fallen in the apartment at lest 15 times since I moved in on 7-1-2020. I also have fallen down these stairs 3 times. I can't carry anything up or down then stairs.
My gate is very very bad I can't feel my feet and they get so much water in my legs they don't move and I have no one to help me. I'm all alone. I have a scooter I just got in April and it helps me a lot, well someone there tried to steal it now it's broken and doesn't work right and I don't have the money to fix it at this time so now I have nothing to even help me take out trash or go to the store to buy my own food and believe me I go without and am hungry.
Can you please help me. ASAP

Please call 928-854-0340 or 928-854-0315 tomorrow. This is your local social service office, please tell them you need help. Let us know how you make out.

Are you on SS disability? If so, there are resources out there. HUD has subsidized apts that rent is based on income. If on SSD you are probably getting Medicaid. As such, you maybe able to get an aide thru them.

I agree that you need to call your County Social Service office. They will be able to help you. You can also call Adult Protection Services and tell them you are a vulnerable adult needing help.

The OP is already on disability and in subsidized housing. They pay under $200 a month rent. Their issue isn’t money, it is that they were put in a 2nd or 3rd level unit and need a ground unit.
