Find Care & Housing
I am so sorry. I don't understand this question. Are you asking if APS will accept calls from a caregiver? Yes. They will. Simply state what concerns you and why you believe that the patient in your care is in danger. Are you asking if you must include your name? It is my feeling, if you are a caregiver with concerns, you can give your name to them anonymously. There is certainly no GUARANTEE that people will not suspect YOU are the one who called. And no guarantee you will keep this position after reporting. But if you believe your patient is in danger you owe it to that person to report and ask APS to assess the situation. Be honest with them about your fears.

Call them and ask.

If you are the caregiver and talking about your client on social media, your friends probably know who you are talking about, as does the family of your client.

Some things are just not ours to talk about, good, bad or indifferent.

If you are a caregiver, you should not be talking about your clients on Social Media period.

If you were may parent's caregiver, you would be fired on the spot.
