My father-in-law continually asks the same questions regarding investments, etc. He is well taken care of and all his finances are in order. Would it be helpful to print out a note so every time he starts down that train of thought he is reminded that there is nothing for him to do, and all his financial concerns are in very good order? Which he facilitated years prior to his dementia.
MY Mom is constantly worried about finances. I get the monthly statement from the brokerage accounts mailed....used to be online only. So..as soon as it arrives I give it to Mom. The broker was nice enough to do a monthly "financial" status report too.
So Mom can see for herself what is happening. I am not so sure she actually understands it. But, it makes her feel better to hold it in her hand and see it...I guess.
