Find Care & Housing
Do you sew? Many people these days need alterations or hemming. Or if you can cook and the parents let you alone in the kitchen you could look into cooking or baking for others ( although this will require an inspection of some sort) I would pay someone to make my Christmas cookies!! Think outside the box, and avoid the "work from home" scams out there!

I did customer service and direct sales at home for three years. Being on the phone will require a very quiet environment. It is often stressed during training. Quality control teams go through calls checking for that noisy environment, how quickly you handled the call, and if you followed the guidelines setup for whatever line you're on. Sales quotas may also be a possibility. I don’t miss this line of work.

I do miss article writing. This was the only thing that allowed me to make part-time income at home and not worry about getting dinged for a noisy environment.

I’ve been out of this line of work now since 2011 so can’t be much help.

Please use great caution, there are many work-at-home scams that ask you to pay a fee and promise to find work for you. It is a very empty promise at best.
Most work from home services involve prospecting for sales companies, doing survey work, or even bill collection. Most involve a training period in an office.
Read the help wanted ads, and call them up. If they want any kind of fee from you, end the call immediately.

Ken, I hope some of writers here who tried to do work-from-home will join this thread to let you know it can become difficult to work where one would need to be on the phone with clients.... one's parent would be interrupting or calling out for help.
