My mom is a world war II vet, and i have read the veterans administration sometimes will pay a caregiver a stipend. I am exploring this and other possible help from them. i am my mom's primary caregiver. she is 92 and lives alone with help coming in daily. i want to be able to let her live at home as long as she is able,as this is where she is the happiest.

Being over 90, she would be on the fast track for approval. As long as her funds are limited, with assets under $80K, call the VA for assistance. They will only pay for the care that is ordered by her MD, although family can be the caregiver.
