Request an absentee ballot, if your state does that, but she has to request it. Voting does not recognize POAs, so you can't do it for her.

Keep in mind that you really should be competent to vote, so if she isn't competent, don't get too involved in helping her request the mail-in ballot.

As stated prior, Absentee Ballot. We used them for the last Presidential election due to the covid pandemic, prior to the vaccine being available. I had to request it. And we already got in the mail the requested ballots as we need to vote for a new Governor in November in our State. There is usually a dead-line to request such a Ballot.

Absentee Ballots have been around for a very long time. That is how our U.S. Military and State Dept employees vote when stationed overseas. And that is how everyone, senior or not, vote if they are unable to go to the polling station.

The information for absentee ballots and mail in ballots will be online for your state. Check with your Board of Registration for voters.
