(Sorry about the language, if that kind of stuff offends you) I want you guys to be blunt, okay. (Sorry if im being a d*ck here, i cant find anythong on what im trying to learn) No bulls**t about miracles, im an athiest, so thanks but no. Alright, so my grandpa has stage 4 lung cancer. He is refusing treatment of any kind, and if needed, a feeding tube. He is staring off into space, and is in extreme pain, and morphine isnt helping him. He was having horrible convulsions today. He was put into the hospital a month and a half ago, and diagnosed 1 month ago. He has lost 40 pounds since then. I cant find any information that is actually helpful. I want a general number. I know it is usually 2-4 months w/o treatment, and its already been 1. I dont think he has months off seeing him, but what do I know, im still in highschool.
When the downward changes are apparent from one month to the next...the time left is months.
When those changes are apparent from one week to the next..the time remaining is weeks
But, when you see the noticeable changes happening from one day to the next...there is only days left.
That certainly applied to my Mom and my Dad
