I want to go to the high rise. I am 78 and homeless under doctor's care. My doctor sent a letter to housing letting them know my case is crucial, but still I wait in my car. My daughter is on housing and a rule is no one can live with you. I don't want to jeopardize her housing so I choose to stay in my car. I am getting more scared each day, I have had some bad experiences on the streets, I need help. There is no vacancies at high rise, yet how much longer as I would just prefer to end it all now as wait much longer. I've been waiting since November of last year.

Your County must have a Social Service Dept. Maybe they can help set u up in a motel. Office of Aging too. APS.

I believe housing rules allow visitors for up to certain amount of consecutive days. Your daughter can check with her landlord for the exact rule on how many days and how often you can stay with her. It is important that you NOT use her address for yourself. Only your daughter can use her address.

I also encourage you to call your case worker that handles your housing application and tell him/her your dire situation and politely ask for the meeting asap. Squeaky wheel gets the oil...

Just hang on a little longer. Better days are ahead.
