Basically the equivalent of a snooze button but turns off the alarm for the day but leaves it set for the next day. My dad can't see very well and will mess up the alarm if the buttons are together but if I can set the alarm to go off the same time everyday or at least once a week, he just needs to be able to turn it off without snoozing it.

My Mom was blind, she had several alarm clocks over the years that were voice activated, but they all had a manual shut off button.

Alexa was the only device I found for her that was totally voice operated as an alarm & she could shut it off by telling Alexa to turn off the alarm. There are ways to set up Alexa routines to get it set up to go off daily.
