She constantly has to listen to this lady's tantrums. Do I move my mom to another place? Cause in this old age home there's no other rooms available or they are too expensive. Should I just leave her there? Let's say I move her to another place and she's not happy there as well?

Speak with the Charge Nurse and also the Director of Nursing. When my mother became combative and got physical with her roommates, they moved her on their own. They moved people around and actually she wound up in a room by herself. I wouldn’t move her. No facility is perfect. I’d work within the facility she’s at now.

There is no other room available for the same price. I did ask. We can not afford to pay more. But just to let you know I found another place for my mom with her own room but still frail care. We will be moving her there on 30/11. Hope it all works out. Thx for answering me.

Salome, are you certain that the tantrums are taking place? I ask because it is not uncommon for seniors to have hallucinations or delusions about things that actually haven't happened. This was the case with my MIL when she was in a facility for rehab. If you are certain the tantrums are occuring, then what Ahmijoy suggested is very good advice.

Hi yes I'm sure that the other lady is diagnosed with dementia and I heard her screaming and acting out and mumbling and making noises and asking same thing over and over and have seen it, so my mom is not imagining it. My mom doesnt have dementia. She was evaluated begire going down to frail care. I have now decided to move my mom to another eldery facility where she will have her own room and also frail care and its even costs less than where she is now. What realy bothers me is when my mom was moved to this shared room in frail care we were never told that the other lady had dementia. Well whats done is done. She is moving to new place on 30/11. Thanks for your reply will keep eye on my mom.
