But she's getting restless, turning lights. Any suggestions for my 95 year old Mom?

How about a checkup with the dr and perhaps some meds that actually are proven to work?

I am not opposed to "alternative medicine" I myself have tried CBD oil for my chronic anxiety and found it lacking.

Surely her dr could prescribe something mild to help her rest.

Ive just suggested to someone else that you give her an ear bud and a talking book, so that she can lie down and listen - and perhaps drop off to sleep. Or alternatively stay quiet so that you can drop off to sleep yourself.

What is Mom doing during the day? If she's not at least alert or sitting up reading/watching tv/etc during the day it's difficult to sleep at night.
