My Aunt is in an elderly home. Her brother (my uncle) is her PoA but lives in Florida currently and she is in Michigan. He is not aware of her daily interactions with aids and the like. The rest of the brothers and sisters were able to visit her until this week. My Uncle told the elderly home to not allow anybody to see her without his consent. My Aunt is coherent and depressed being in the home and my Father, other Aunts and other Uncle want to remove her from the home. Is there any way to bypass his consent obligation to get her removed from the home? He does not see her nor know what is going with her - does not realize how depressed she is. This is completely unfair to her and my family just wants to make things right by her.
