I have over 170 adult diapers that are packaged 10 to a bundle. These are diaper with tabs and have a line that will turn color when the diaper is soiled. I would like to donate these, but am at a loss as to where or who will take these, locally. Pasadena, CA

My experience is that most institutions won’t take things like this, as they prefer to use their own systems. Hospice might be an option, as they are dealing with people as individuals and can ask them. Another option might be to put a card notice on a notice board – Church? Local shop?

Yes, you are correct.  Most institutions won't take this product.  But I did take your suggestion and reached out to my Church.  They have a food bank and will try and help find a place.
Thank you again.

I gave ours to our HCA, who was very glad to take them for those of her clients whose daily allowance was not sufficient for their needs.

I can imagine that facilities will be fussy about original packaging; but as yours are mostly intact then I should try googling "Medicaid-approved facilities in [your locality]" and picking the one you'd most like to support; or failing that perhaps food banks in your area will also be grateful for things like toiletries and personal care disposables.

After all. What you're doing is donating, say, a gift of over a hundred dollars; and someone will be very glad that you're thinking of them instead of sending it to landfill.

I think AL's or memory care are more apt to be grateful than a nursing home because the people there are expected to buy their own products independently. Perhaps, if allowed, a little advert at the local seniors centre would reach the right people, or at the nearest food bank,
