I have an attorney. He's my siblings are dangerous (from upper middle class area). I am the only one who has my own estate and am highly educated but am battling a serious health condition. My mom has mental illness. She, consistent with past wills left me personal items. My dad is acting as executor. I think he is afraid of my siblings. He how is violent but never was before. I want to protect him, yet I also want what my mom left me for sentimental reasons. I finally have a copy of the will. I don't want to become adversaries with my dad. He's very touchy abt his dementia as he used to be brilliant, just lost his wife, and has other children preying upon him
& I mean it's bad but he Is afraid. And he gets mad, as my mom did, if anyone tries to help him. Any suggestions?
The title of your post states that your mother is deceased, but in the post you write that your mother has mental illness. Do you mean she had it when she was alive? Or is there a stepmother involved?
You also state in the title that your "dangerous brother" is executor but in the post itself you state the your father is acting as executor. Who's named as executor (actually known now as Personal Representative)?
Is your brother preventing what your mother allocated to you in her will?
History of violence and I am now aware he was preying on my mom but I can't discuss that evidence yet. Adult protective services and the local police have been written up in the paper for ignoring countless abused adults who ended up dead. I know. I found this out when staying with my family for medical treatment. I got the #*?! beaten outta me. No one would help, a small over educated women who never even got a speeding ticket and was attached to tubes. He's dangerous. Period. My dad is afraid of him. He won't admit it and instead lets him take thousands of $$$ to avoid his wrath.
