My 81 year old mother is experiencing incontinence. I naively bought some heavy flow cloth menstrual pads, but they don't fit properly in her underwear. Do you have a cloth underwear, or a type of pad that you recommend? She does go to the bathroom, yet she also has frequent leakage. Thanks.

YYYYEEESSS!!!!!! Go to metromedicalonline They have products for both men and women that are machine washable and dryable. I bought 16 pair for my mother several years ago. I like that wear very well, and my mom felt pretty in them. They may seem pricey, but are a bargain when compared to disposable diapers. The website has specials.

There will be a whole section in your local drugstore devoted to disposable incontinence products, from very small light duty pads to discrete underwear and beyond to bulky heavy duty open sided briefs. There are also disposable and washable pads available to protect the bed and chairs. The pads are especially designed for incontinence and are more absorbent than menstrual pads so you might want to start there.

Look on Amazon...they have tons of products. We order the Depends on bulk and have them delivered right to her door.

There are disposable pads made by Tena that she can try. I don't know of any washable/reusable type but we do use washable pads to put on her bed at night if she is incontinent and it leaks through her nighttime Depends.
