I've had Grandma try several name brands of adult diapers and they all leak. We were having success with the Tena brand with moderate absorbency until I added about 20 oz. more liquid to Grandma's diet. Now they're leaking too. I'm having problems finding diapers that have low shipping costs, are cheap, and absorbent. I've heard that the Abri-Flex brand is excellent, but they're super expensive. Please provide links to the website(s) if possible. I've got the slowest internet speeds on earth, it makes online shopping miserably slow. I can't even shop on Walmart's website at all. Thanks
Does anyone know of similar products for less than 50 cents each? It would have to be significantly less to get me to switch as these work so well though for my mom.
On another note I recently found a great price on disposable latex gloves at topquality gloves.com $4.75 for 100 count of latex powder free gloves - basically about 9 cents a pair.
They were light as a feather before use. After even very large #1 urination events if you will they weighed so much it was absurd yet not a drop leaked or on her skirt. A real God send in my opinion.
Unfortunately none of the brands commonly stocked in stores are as good as brands such as Abena, Prevail, Tranquility or Molicare which you have to get from specialty shops or online.
A few times she saw me throwing the used one out and said hey don't throw out my underwear. I'll wash them :-)
I use Depends during the day because they're cheaper but for the long hours of overnight, I use Abena.
